Basketball Recap: Lima Christian Comes Up Short

The Lima Christian Saints took a blow against the Jasper-Troupsburg Wildcats on Saturday, falling 71-24.

Jasper-Troupsburg's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Landon Zver, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten boards. Thanks to that strong game, Zver now owns an excellent 49.3% field goal percentage. Nolan Vallieres was another key player, going 12-for-18 on his way to 24 points and three steals.

Lima Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jasper-Troupsburg, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Lima Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Mount Morris at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jasper-Troupsburg, they are taking a road trip to challenge Campbell-Savona at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
