Softball Recap: Meade County Comes Up Short

Meade County was the 3-0 winner over Larue County when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Green Waves fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday.

Meade County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendall Buchanan, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Meade County's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Larue County, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meade County will head out to face off against Bethlehem at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Larue County, they will venture away from home to take on Hart County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
