Baseball Recap: Cache Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Cache's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Elgin Owls on Monday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Owls recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Cache's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Elgin, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

While Cache had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
