Softball Preview: South Pemiscot Bulldogs vs. Caruthersville Tigers
For the second straight game, South Pemiscot will face off against Caruthersville. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in South Pemiscot's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Caruthersville has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road.
The home team had won the previous two meetings between South Pemiscot and Caruthersville, and South Pemiscot kept the tradition alive. The Bulldogs blew past the Tigers 15-5 on Wednesday. Considering the Bulldogs have won 16 contests by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Phoenix Simmons made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits.
