Basketball Recap: Bremen Takes a Loss

Bremen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Lockport Porters and fell 69-36. The Braves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-20.

Bremen's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Lockport, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Bremen won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Tinley Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tinley Park knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Bremen likes a good challenge. As for Lockport, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Homewood-Flossmoor at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Homewood-Flossmoor is on a seven-game streak of home wins, Lockport a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
