Baseball Recap: 21st Century Charter Comes Up Short

21st Century Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-3 to the South Bend Washington Panthers. The Cougars were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

21st Century Charter saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Deshon Tanner, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

21st Century Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for South Bend Washington, their win bumped their record up to 6-14.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Panthers beat 21st Century Charter by a score of 12-5 later that day.
