Basketball Recap: Granger Comes Up Short

Granger played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Stansbury Stallions and fell 76-47. The Lancers were down 62-35 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Granger's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zephaniah Willford, who posted eight points. Braslau Fotso Simo also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Granger and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Stansbury, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Granger will square off against Park City at 7:00 p.m. on December 3. As for Stansbury, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Skyridge at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
