Volleyball Recap: Cheney Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against East Valley on Tuesday, Cheney came back down to earth. The Blackhawks came up short against the Mead Panthers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Blackhawks in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost seven in a row.

While Cheney was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-12, 25-10.

Cheney's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10-1. As for Mead, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Cheney will venture away from home to challenge University at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mead, they will head out to square off against Wenatchee at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
