Baseball Recap: Bellingham Blackhawks vs. Medfield Warriors
Bellingham extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 2-15 in the process. They fell 9-5 to the Medfield Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 back in April.

Payton Young was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Bellingham saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Sullivan, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

The Blackhawks (ranked 273rd) will meet Blackstone Valley RVT (ranked 133rd) at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Medfield will face off against Wellesley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (150 vs. 32).
