Avenal scaled the state rankings by moving to 911 from 939 this week, the biggest jump in West Sierra. The Buccaneers were able to make move up by topping Laton 50-6.
Firebaugh took down Sierra Pacific 51-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Josh Allen threw for 299 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 26 yards in the win.
The Eagles' dynamic duo of Allen and Eric Coronado proved to be unstoppable against the Golden Bears, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Frank Herrera helped Firebaugh's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 57 yards.

Allen put up the best numbers through the air as the Eagles defeated the Golden Bears. Allen's favorite target this week was Coronado, who caught 4 passes for 88 yards.

Segura was a force in the backfield as the Aztecs fell to Fresno.
