Soccer Game Preview: Tivy vs. Pieper

The Tivy Antlers will square off against the Pieper Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Tivy's last ten matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Tivy is headed into Friday's contest following a draw, the team's first since January 20. Neither they nor Boerne could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Pieper hasn't lost a match since January 8th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They blew past Wagner 8-1. Pieper haven't had any issues with Wagner recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Pieper hit Wagner with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Blake Dildy (3), Landon Villarreal (3), Dominic Tondre, and Nolan Masker.

Pieper's win bumped their record up to 10-2-4. Tivy's draw makes their record 9-7-3 this season.
