Basketball Recap: McKinley Comes Up Short

McKinley lost against Lowellville back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The McKinley Trojans took a 46-30 bruising from the Lowellville Rockets.

McKinley's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Lowellville, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McKinley will head out to face off against Jackson-Milton at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. McKinley is facing Jackson-Milton at the right time seeing as Jackson-Milton is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Lowellville, they will face off against Mineral Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Mineral Ridge will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Lowellville surely won't give up without a fight.
