Palmetto got themselves on the board against Christ Church Episcopal on Friday, but Christ Church Episcopal never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 10-0 win. Considering the Mustangs' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Palmetto's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-13. As for Christ Church Episcopal, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palmetto will take on Carolina Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Christ Church Episcopal, they will square off against Walhalla at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cavaliers will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: the Razorbacks will have lost four straight heading into Monday's contest.
