Softball Recap: Advance Comes Up Short

Advance was the 10-0 winner over New Madrid County Central when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets lost 13-3 to the Eagles on Tuesday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Advance's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for New Madrid County Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-1 record this season.

Advance will host Leopold at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. New Madrid County Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
