Basketball Game Preview: Granger Lions vs. Rosebud-Lott Cougars

Granger and Rosebud-Lott are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Granger Lions take on the Rosebud-Lott Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Granger will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Granger beat Milano 54-48.

Meanwhile, Rosebud-Lott lost 50-25 to Thorndale on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost eight in a row.

Granger has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Rosebud-Lott, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.

Granger was able to grind out a solid victory over Rosebud-Lott in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 34-26. Will Granger repeat their success, or does Rosebud-Lott have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
