Rigs Newton Game Report: @ Centennial

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Rigs Newton: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made four total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended one pass as Heartland took down Centennial 42-38. We certainly expect to see more performances from Newton considering he's already seeing the field as a sophomore.

Looking ahead, Newton and Heartland will host McCool Junction at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 66 places lower in Nebraska), but they're not letting that get them down.
