Mobile Christian took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Spanish Fort Toros out 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Leopards have posted since April 20, 2024.

Maddox McKinion looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on PJ Brown, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kayden Helton, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mobile Christian will host Marbury at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spanish Fort, they will face off against Spain Park at 4:30 p.m. on February 20th.
