Recap: Hodgeman County Longhorns vs. South Barber Chieftains
After some red-hot offensive attacks in their last seven game, The Hodgeman County Longhorns finally came back down to earth on Friday. They were dealt a 58-8 loss at the hands of South Barber. Hodgeman County was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-8.
South Barber's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bryson Rathgeber, who rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. Another big playmaker for South Barber was Lukas Dunham, who returned a punt for a touchdown.
Hodgeman County's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for South Barber, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
Hodgeman County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South Barber is also done with their season.
