Bishop never let their opponents score on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the La Jolla Country Day Torreys. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Bailey Brightenburg, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jessica Yao, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bishop's kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Bishop's win bumped their record up to 10-6-1. As for La Jolla Country Day, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Bishop's has already played their next match, a 4-1 defeat against Tri-City Christian on the 6th. As for La Jolla Country Day, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-1 victory against Guajome Park Academy on the 7th.
