Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Denver East). Everything went their way against the Rangeview Raiders on Thursday as they made off with a 9-1 victory. Liam Ellis was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Denver East pushed their record up to 9-1-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Rangeview, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7-1.

Looking ahead, Denver East will face off against Vista PEAK Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rangeview, they have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against Overland on the 18th.
