Baseball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Blackman Blaze, falling 12-3.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Blackman, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Looking ahead, Northwest is taking a road trip to square off against Middle Tennessee Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Northwest has given up an average of 12.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. Blackman has already played their next game (against Clarksville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
