L'Anse Creuse North got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They snuck past the Utica Chieftains with a 50-45 win on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Crusaders: when they faced off against the Chieftains back in January, they had to take a 41-28 loss.

The victory made it two in a row for L'Anse Creuse North and bumps their season record up to 4-17. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points over those games. As for Utica, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.
