Baseball Recap: Oasis Christian Lions vs. Sports Leadership & Management Spartans
After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Oasis Christian finally came back down to earth on Friday. They fell victim to a tough 11-1 defeat at the hands of the Sports Leadership & Management Spartans.
Oasis Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Ayala, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Ayala is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last four games he's played.
On Sports Leadership & Management's side, J J Shipherd made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. Shipherd was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, a triple, and two RBI.
