Basketball Recap: Calvary Temple Comes Up Short

Calvary Temple lost against Park View back in January of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Calvary Temple had to suffer through a 79-51 loss at the hands of the Park View Patriots. Calvary Temple was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-28.

Park View was led to victory by Noah Calalang and Josh Monnity. Calalang posted 32 points, while Monnity had 22 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Calalang has scored at least a third of Park View's points. Jadon Lane was another key player, putting up nine points.

The win made it two in a row for Park View and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Calvary Temple will take on Frederick Christian Academy in a holiday battle at 6:45 p.m. on December 16th at. As for Park View, they will face off against Unity Reed at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
