Basketball Recap: Mt. St. Joseph Academy Takes a Loss

Mt. St. Joseph Academy suffered their biggest loss since January 14th on Monday. They came up short against Long Trail, falling 46-23. The Green Wave have struggled against Long Trail recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Mt. St. Joseph Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Long Trail, they pushed their record up to 17-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Coming up, Mt. St. Joseph Academy will welcome Poultney at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Long Trail, they will head out to square off against Arlington Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Long Trail: 27.7, Arlington Memorial: 26) so any points scored will be well earned.
