Basketball Game Preview: Doyline Panthers vs. Quitman Wolverines

Doyline hasn't had much luck against Quitman recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Doyline Panthers will host the Quitman Wolverines at 6:00 p.m.

Doyline is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 13th straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Simsboro, falling 56-32.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Quitman). They blew past Weston, posting a 68-32 victory. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

The win (which was Quitman's third in a row) raised their record to 17-9. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.7 points per game. As for Doyline, their loss dropped their record down to 2-18.
