New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy suffers 17th straight loss on the road

Recap: New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs vs. Belle Chasse Cardinals

This season hasn't been kind to the New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs, who are still winless after their 11th matchup. They were beaten by Belle Chasse 82-22 on Friday. While losing is never fun, New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 367th, while Belle Chasse is ranked 129th).

Leading Belle Chasse to victory were Kyle Reeves and MJ Bacani. Reeves scored 14 points, while Bacani scored 11 points along with five assists and two steals. Another player making a difference was Maddux Parfait, who scored eight points along with two steals.

New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy dropped their record down to 0-11 with that loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.3 points per game. As for Belle Chasse, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.
