Softball Recap: Gallatin County Has No Trouble Against Owen County

Gallatin County won the last time they faced Owen County and things went their way on Friday too. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 13-3 victory. Considering the Wildcats have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Gallatin County and bumps their season record up to 16-12. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Owen County, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gallatin County will take on Calvary Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Owen County, they will challenge Grant County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
