Basketball Recap: University Prep's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against University Prep Art & Design last Friday, University Prep came back down to earth. The University Prep Panthers fell 61-54 to the Old Redford Academy Ravens on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 61-59 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

University Prep's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-6. As for Old Redford Academy, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

University Prep will take on Groves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Old Redford Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 79-45 victory against Westfield Prep on the 28th.
