Baseball Recap: Monrovia Wildcats vs. Duarte Falcons
The Monrovia Wildcats came up short against the Duarte Falcons on Wednesday and fell 8-5.
Monrovia got a good showing from Alex Myers, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. That's the fewest hits Myers has allowed since back in February of 2024.
At the plate, Monrovia saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Troy Grise, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
