Softball Recap: St. Vincent de Paul Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for St. Vincent de Paul's offense. They came up short against the Piner Prospectors on Tuesday, falling 7-0. The Mustangs have struggled against the Prospectors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

St. Vincent de Paul's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3. As for Piner, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. St. Vincent de Paul will take on rival Santa Rosa at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Piner is set to challenge their familiar foe Montgomery at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
