Football Game Recap: Natoma vs. Western Plains

Natoma won the last time they faced Western Plains, and things went their way on Friday, too. Natoma were fully in charge, breezing past Western Plains 59-14. Natoma were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

The win got Natoma back to even at 3-3. Western Plains are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.

Next week Natoma take on Cheylin at 5:00 PM. Cheylin also lit up the scoreboard in their last matchup, so this could be a high-scoring matchup. Western Plains will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against Golden Plains in two weeks. Golden Plains have averaged 46 points over the course of their past six games, so Western Plains might be in for a challenge.
