Softball Recap: Pendleton Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Pendleton unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Powdersville Patriots on Saturday, falling 11-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered against the Patriots since April 6, 2017.

Powdersville's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pendleton will face off against Mountain View Prep at 6:00 p.m. on March 3rd. As for Powdersville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Travelers Rest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
