Folsom came tearing into Saturday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the Woodcreek Timberwolves to the tune of 84-41. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 29 points or more this season.

Woodcreek's loss came despite strong showings from Max VanLaningham and Marcus Hall. VanLaningham posted 12 points, while Hall scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Bualat, who put up nine points.

Folsom's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Woodcreek, they moved to 12-2 with that loss, which also ended their 12-game winning streak.

Folsom didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-29 win against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent on the 26th. As for Woodcreek, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ponderosa at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
