After flying high against Tri-County on Tuesday, Almond-Bancroft came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Stratford Tigers by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Almond-Bancroft's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Stratford, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
