Basketball Recap: Hinsdale Adventist Academy Takes a Loss

Hinsdale Adventist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Unity Christian Academy Phoenix 112-25. The Hurricanes lost against the Phoenix in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 72-29 score last time.

Unity Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mason O'Neal, who went 11 of 18 en route to 24 points. O'Neal's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Malachi O'Neal was another key player, going 6 for 10 on his way to 18 points along with six boards and five assists.

Hinsdale Adventist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Unity Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-6.

Hinsdale Adventist Academy has already played their next matchup (against Universal), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Unity Christian Academy has already played their next game, a 100-25 victory against Illinois Lutheran on the 22nd.
