While Marion's victory against Sikeston wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats skirted past the Bulldogs 4-2. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Marion's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Sikeston, they moved to 6-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
