Two dominant backs in Joseph Tarasewicz and Kingston Allen are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The River Falls Wildcats will take on the Notre Dame Academy Tritons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. River Falls knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Notre Dame Academy likes a good challenge.
River Falls is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They strolled past Oshkosh North with points to spare, taking the game 52-38. The Wildcats pushed the score to 38-18 by the end of the third, a deficit the Spartans cut but never quite recovered from.

Tino Massa produced another solid effort throwing for 323 yards and four TDs while picking up 12.9 yards per attempt. What's more, he posted five rushing yards, the most he's had since back in August. River Falls' leading receiver Todd Benedict was Massa's top target yet again, picking up 87 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
River Falls was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 225 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 171 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.
River Falls' defensive line stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Sam Simpson was especially locked on to Oshkosh North's QB and sacked him twice. Simpson also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with nine.
Meanwhile, Notre Dame Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Rice Lake on Friday, taking the game 28-20. Given the Tritons' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Warriors are ranked 53rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
River Falls pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.9 points over those games. As for Notre Dame Academy, their win bumped their record up to 12-0.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. River Falls has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 184.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Notre Dame Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 188.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
