Volleyball Recap: Rutland Comes Up Short

Rutland lost against Morgan County back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hurricanes fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs.

The final score came out to 25-1, 25-7.

Rutland has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Morgan County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.

Coincidentally, Rutland and Morgan County will both be playing Jackson County the next time they take the court. The Hurricanes will head out to face the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
