Recap: Potter-Dix Coyotes vs. Peetz Bulldogs
The Potter-Dix Coyotes scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Peetz with a sharp 67-44 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Potter-Dix.
Madison Williamson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 39 points and nine steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Potter-Dix's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Micayla Mcconnell, who scored 13 points along with eight assists and five rebounds.
Peetz's loss came despite strong showings from Jaidynn Reiman and Skye Lefever. Reiman scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Lefever scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. It was the first time this season that Lefever pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Potter-Dix's victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-12. As for Peetz, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
Potter-Dix will head out on the road to square off against Arthur County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Potter-Dix has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Peetz, they will be playing at home against Otis at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Peetz is coming into the matchup with seven straight defeats at home, meaning Otis will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
