Basketball Recap: Paideia Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

There's no place like home for Paideia, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the King's Ridge Christian Tigers by a score of 68-57 on Thursday. For the Pythons, this counts as revenge for the 60-52 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why King's Ridge Christian lost, don't look at Charles Bryant. Despite the final result, he went 8 of 9 en route to 27 points. Those 27 points gave Bryant a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Winston Steinberger, who posted eight points and three steals.

Paideia is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for King's Ridge Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.

Paideia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-48 victory against Mount Vernon on the 1st. As for King's Ridge Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-34 defeat against Mt. Bethel Christian Academy on the 31st.
