Basketball Game Preview: Heritage Preparatory Rams vs. Rock Springs Christian Academy

The Heritage Preparatory Rams will take on Rock Springs Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Heritage Preparatory is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Heritage just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. The contest between them and the Hawks didn't end well, with Heritage Preparatory falling 47-32.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rock Springs Christian Academy). They breezed by St. Mary's Academy to the tune of 50-14 on Friday.

Rock Springs Christian Academy's win came from a few key players Heritage Preparatory will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Mckinleigh Norwood, who went 7 for 11 on her way to 15 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Tinley Shiflett, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds.

Heritage Preparatory now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Rock Springs Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.

Heritage Preparatory strolled past Rock Springs Christian Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 43-26. Will Heritage Preparatory repeat their success, or does Rock Springs Christian Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
