12 must be Cassopolis's lucky number: they beat Comstock with that score not once but twice on Thursday. The Rangers beat the Colts by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-3. The Rangers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by nine runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Cassopolis and bumps their season record up to 4-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Comstock, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
