Soccer Game Preview: Valley vs. Elmore County

Valley hasn't had much luck against Elmore County recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Rams will take on the Panthers at 4:30 p.m.

Valley lost 5-1 to Beauregard on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Elmore County hadn't done well against Prattville Christian Academy recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Elmore County never let Prattville Christian Academy get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Considering Elmore County has won five contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Elmore County, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

Valley suffered a grim 6-1 defeat to Elmore County in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
