Baseball Recap: Granville Takes a Loss

The Granville Blue Aces didn't have quite enough to beat the Steubenville Big Red on Saturday and fell 3-2. The Blue Aces have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Granville's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Steubenville, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-10.

Coming up, Granville will venture away from home to face off against Edison at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Blue Aces' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Steubenville, they will challenge St. Clairsville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
