Reno is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Spanish Springs with a sharp 11-4 win.

Meanwhile, Bishop Manogue faced Reno in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Miners came out on top against the Huskies by a score of 7-3. The victory was nothing new for the Miners as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Reno has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-12 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Bishop Manogue, they pushed their record up to 27-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
