Basketball Game Preview: Baldwyn Bearcats vs. Thrasher Rebels + How To Watch

Baldwyn is a perfect 9-0 against Thrasher since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bearcats will challenge the Rebels at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Baldwyn has three straight wins, Thrasher has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Baldwyn and Ashland, and Baldwyn kept the tradition alive. The Bearcats blew past the Blue Devils 61-37 on Tuesday. Fans of the Bearcats have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Meanwhile, Thrasher scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 50-49 to Pine Grove. Surprisingly, this marked the Rebels' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Thrasher's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Baldwyn, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Everything came up roses for Baldwyn against Thrasher in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 59-30 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bearcats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
