Softball Recap: Kermit Yellow Jackets vs. Borger Bulldogs
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pecos, Kermit was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Borger Bulldogs, sneaking past 11-9. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Yellow Jackets' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Aliha Saenz made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Saenz was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2025.
