Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ohio County). Everything went their way against the Holmes Bulldogs on Saturday as they made off with a 34-12 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their 13-point performance the matchup before.

Ohio County's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Holmes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Coincidentally, Ohio County and Holmes will both be playing Thomas Nelson the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Generals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th.
