Soccer Game Preview: Florence vs. Seton Catholic

The Florence Gophers are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will take on the Seton Catholic Sentinels at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Florence's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Florence fell victim to Odyssey Institute and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Minotaur, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, Seton Catholic kept a clean sheet against Benjamin Franklin on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged the Chargers out 1-0.

Florence's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Seton Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Florence suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to Seton Catholic in their previous meeting on Saturday. Can Florence avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
